Modular Rehab Treatment Bed
The Pro-Care® CraigBed is a functional, reliable solution for facilitating the safe treatment of Traumatic Brain Injury, Huntington Disease, Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy and others. As an alternative to using strap restraints, the occupant may be placed in this padded environment with reduced likelihood of injury. It provides a safer solution to fully netted bed enclosures that carry the inherent risk of the occupant becoming entangled in the netting. The unit is composed of a foam mattress and four padded walls that connect to form a safe padded cubicle enclosure. The heavy duty foam mattress is covered in a tough, nylon reinforced hospital grade vinyl fabric. It is fluid proof, stain & static resistant, antimicrobial, durable and easy to clean. A decubitus reducing mattress is available as an option. The mattress may be placed on an optional upholstered platform, foam riser block or floor pad, or it may be placed directly on the floor*. The walls connect with web straps and quick-release buckles. The interior and exterior are covered in heavy duty commercial grade grade hospital vinyl and wipe clean with standard cleaning solutions.

Quick & Easy Access
Access to the interior of the bed is quick and easy from either of two opposite corners. Simply squeeze the quick release buckles and the walls swing open. To close again, loosen the adjustable straps to allow some slack, then snap the buckles back together and cinch up till the walls are again snug against the mattress. All hardware is reversible so that the entry can be changed from left to right side to facilitate your room layout.

Easy Handling
The CR series CraigBed is designed for easy transport and storage. Each wall section rolls on heavy duty, non-marring, lock-able swivel casters. The two wall sections may be latched together for ease of handling.

Options: Platform, 4" Riser Block, 1" Floor Pad
Raised platforms and vinyl covered riser blocks are available to raise the mattress off the ground to allow better visibility and easier access to juveniles from outside the enclosure. The Tall Wall Model is recommended for use with these risers. Caution! When using a platform or riser block, care should be taken that the elevated height of the mattress does not allow the patient to tumble over the wall. One inch floor pads are available to provide a barrier between the mattress and the floor without raising the mattress height significantly.

Note!
When better viewing of the occupant is desired a 4" riser block or platform may be used. The use of a riser block or platform is NOT recommended for active patients over six feet tall, due to the possible potential for these patients to accidentally tumble over the top of the restraining walls when standing - even when using the Tall Walled Bed.

The Optional Tall Walls are recomended if a foam riser block or platform is used. When this option is selected, the recommended mattress is a single sided high density decubitus reducing mattress.
